The FOGBL is excited to once again partner with Eskaton Lodge Granite Bay to deliver a 6 part Conversational Spanish workshop that is Free and open to the Granite Bay Community.
What: Conversational Spanish Workshops Free to the Granite Bay Community
Date: Starting Wednesday January 19 for a total of 6 sessions on Wednesday’s ending Wednesday 2/23.

Program Basis:
These classes are designed to learn Spanish with the appropriate educational strategies in a real “Spanish environment”.
Role play with real-world scenarios
Traveling, shopping, visiting a restaurant, and more.
Dance
Latin rhythms – Merengue, Salsa, etc.
Sing songs in Spanish
Typical Spanish songs
Lesson Plan:
Every lesson is built around specific topics and vocabulary words and is reinforced with learning materials and role-playing real-world scenarios.
Day 1: Greeting, introduction, Feelings and Pronouns
Day 2: Spanish For Travel
Day 3: Spanish For Restaurants and Shopping
Day 4: Alphabet, Numbers and Calendar
Day 5: Main Verbs
Day 6: Hispanic Culture (Sing a song and dance)
