Between #GivingTuesday through December 31, 2024, generous donors helped raise funds for a total of 74 Brand-New Books for the Granite Bay Library’s permanent collection! Thank you so much for each and every contribution. We are proud of every single new book added to the library’s collection. Adding to our library’s collection during the holiday season is one of our absolute favorite ways to give back.
Now, the fun part! We will meet with our librarian who will determine the new books for our branch library. Ask the expert we say! Once the book list is finalized, and the books are purchased, they will start trickling in early 2025 and will be added to our library’s shelves. Peak in the front cover of your next library book, and you might find a placard noting that the book was donated by YOU via Friends of the Granite Bay Library!
As we near the end of another year, we are thankful for all of the wonderful resources and programs available to our community through our library. In addition, we are grateful to the wonderful librarians who make the library vibrant through their curated displays of books, welcoming smiles, helpful answers, thoughtful programs, and skillful management of the collection.
We are also thankful for YOU! Whether you donated, volunteered or just visited the library – we are grateful for your support. Sometimes the easiest way to support the library is to visit it. So grab your card and check out a book! Thank you, as always, to all of the the library’s Friends.
