Granite Bay resident Susan Hogg is one local artist who will be displaying her scarves, small purses, coasters and note cards for guests to view and buy. Susan is a colorist. She began painting about 11 years ago when she retired. She paints in the impressionist style, and she usually enjoys painting with oils but lately has also been enjoying creating with watercolors.
Susan’s work is based on her original paintings. In fact, the purses, coasters and cards look just like a small painting. Her scarves are silky and very impressionistic.
Susan is one of several local artists who will be featured at the Wine and Art event, which will be held at Casque Winery in Loomis. Hope to see you there!
