Summer Reading Program


  • Stuffed Animal Sleepover Wednesday, June 14, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Bedtime stories and crafts for the kids…then the animals stay over, and the rumpus begins!
  • Craft and Create for Kids: Explorers! Thursday, June 15, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Get creative at the Library with some crafting! Make some awesome gear for exploring your world!
  • Craft and Create for Adults: How Does Your Garden Grow? Tuesday, June 20, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Get creative at the Library with some DIY! Make a few garden-themed projects and try your hand at adult coloring–it’s all the rage! (Ages 18 and up)
  • Musical Robot Thursday, June 22, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Learn some new songs and a few dance moves from a couple of cool Robots!
  • Craft and Create for Teens: Totes DIY Wednesday, June 28, 3:00-4:30 p.m. Get your Pinterest craftiness on! We’ll be doing several DIY projects, including a personalized tote bag. Teens and Tweens only.
  • Mad Science Thursday, June 29, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Let’s explore the wondrous world around us with Mad Science of Sacramento!
  • Brian Scott Magic Thursday, July 6, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Magic and humor, a fabulous show for all ages!
  • Teen Movie Night at the Library Wednesday, July 12, 3:00-5:30 p.m. Bring some friends to the Library for a special showing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Snacks and Harry Potter paraphernalia will be included. Teen and Tweens. (Food at Event.)
  • Wild Things Thursday, July 13, 2:00-2:45 p.m. Meet some rescued exotic animals from around the world!
  • Book Bingo Thursday, July 20, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Play the classic game with a twist. Fun & prizes!
  • Family Game Night  Wednesday, July 26, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Spend time with family and friends at the Library. Choose from a myriad of board games and get playin’! (Food at event)
