Annual Giving Book Drive was a Success with 122 New Books for the Library!

Thanks to you, our patrons, the Annual Giving Book Drive, held Nov. 27 through Jan. 31, was a grand success once again. Together, we raised over $2,400 toward new books for the Granite Bay Library. Your generosity enables us to purchase 122 brand new adult, teen and children’s books for the Granite Bay Library for everyone to enjoy. 

As you may know, county and state funding provides very little financial support for each library to purchase new books for its permanent collection. Historically, the Friends organization of each library throughout Placer County provides these invaluable funds to make new book purchases possible. New books help keep our library vibrant and relevant.
