We believe that one of the greatest gifts you can give your children is the love of reading, and the best way to give this gift is to show by example.
We are all “Friends” of the library – every patron, every student, every child that enters through those doors (digitally or physically). That is because everyone who USES the library SUPPORTS the library – by showing there is a need for those books and programs.

Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour online giving challenge that brings together the region’s nonprofit community to help raise much needed unrestricted funds and shine a spotlight on the work nonprofits do to make the Sacramento region the place we call home.
